Now in Stock: My Father Le Bijou 1922 (Review)

Wrapper: Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro
Filler: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan

These popular cigars were requested for some time. So we figured that because of the name, they would be perfect to get in for Father's Day. Boy, were we right. These cigars literally flew off the shelves. For those of you unfamiliar with this line of cigars, we decided to review the most popular one for you.

Appearance:

At first glance you can tell this cigar is perfect. The wrapper is a medium to dark brown with a very oily look to it. There were a few veins, but none of worry. The triple cap lied perfectly flush with the rest of the cigar. The smell coming from this cigar was very sweet. We were anxious to light this one up.

Constuction:

Completely flawless. This cigar was solid from cap to foot. The burn pattern was almost razor straight. The draw had the perfect amount of resistance. The smoke that billowed out of this cigar was thick and almost white.

Flavor:

There was a definite sweetness as soon as we lit these cigars up. But along with the sweet tones was a solid pepper background. There were some wood and earth tones peaking out. The start was perfectly balanced.

As this cigar progressed, the flavors developed a bit more. The profile became very creamy adding nice accents to the spicy and sweet profile. There were little bitter notes of coffee that poked out around the halfway point as well.

As this cigar came to a close the flavors became much stronger. Every puff brought more coffee, wood, and spice. The sweetness seemed to coat out palates nicely to create a nice base flavor.

Overall:

Now we all know why this cigar flew off our shelves. The flavors were absolutely amazing. Its a stronger stick, so if you like full bodied cigars please treat yourself to this cigar. We are positive you wont be disappointed.

Thank you,

The Xhale Lounge Crew
