Small Review of the Arturo Fuente No. 46 Anejo

Wrapper: Connecticut Maduro
Filler: Dominican
Binder: Dominican

As many of you may know, the Anejo is one of the most sought after cigars to come from Arturo Fuente. We are lucky enough to have a very small quantity left. This cigar is not the Opus X that is so often asked for, but this cigar is up there in caliber.

Appearance:

The Connecticut maduro wrapper on this cigar is very dark brown, almost black in shade. The cap was slightly lighter in color and was perfectly flush. The cap was also made up of a couple layers. There were a couple veins running through the wrapper giving the cigar a rougher look.

Construction:

This cigar was uniform and solid throughout. We could tell how tightly packed it was by simply looking at the foot. The burn was perfectly even throughout this cigar and the draw was very easy. The ash was a little darker but it was fairly strong.

Flavor:

Upon lighting this cigar there was a strong woodiness and a little bit of spice in the background. As this cigar slowly progressed there was a slight sweetness that started to form. There was an overall creamy flavor profile.

Spice and wood notes picked up in the second third of this cigar. The profile was now very earthy. The woodiness started to sit on our palates while the spice continued to pick up. Even though there was a good amount of spice, the profile was still very smooth.

The last third of this cigar was much sweeter than the rest of the cigar. The spice actually mellowed out and allowed the flavor profile to balance. The woodiness and the sweetness were the main flavors on the finish.

Overall:

We are literally down to a handful of these left on the shelves. Find out what all the hype is before these limited release cigars are gone. These full bodied beauties Are moving fast, so hurry up and come grab them. And remember, they're buy 4 get 1 free.

Thank you for your business,
