New Facing of the Week: Drew Estate Liga Privada Undercrown (Review)

Wrapper: San Andres Negro
Filler: Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan
Binder: Connecticut Habano

We are pleased to introduce to you one of the hottest selling cigars on the market right now. The Liga Privada Undercrown has been flying off the shelves everywhere. We just had to bring it in. These cigar are fantastic in every aspect. We brought in four sizes for you to try out. We decided to review the newest edition to the Undercrown line, the Corona Viva!

Appearance:

The wrapper on this particular cigar is very dark brown, almost black. The leaf is rough to the touch, but has a smooth oily shine to it. The cap on this cigar is made up of two separate layers that both are perfectly flush with with the rest of the cigar. Upon last inspection, we notices a chocolatey smell coming from this cigar.

Construction:

There was not a single soft spot thought this entire cigar. The roll was uniform throughout, which was very noticeable once we cut the cap. The ash on this cigar was light gray and held on for about an inch at a time. Which is fairly long considering the thin ring gauge. The burn and draw were both great.

Flavor:

There was a nice combination of several flavors right off the light. There were noticeable sweet notes, as well as spice, earth, and wood. As the earthiness picks up, the spice does as well. Towards the end of the first third, there was a strong mix of spice and wood flavors.

As we moved into the second third the flavors seemed to open up for us. The flavor profile became much creamier. The leather earth flavor seemed to pick up, and as this happened, a slight coffee tone came out.

Towards the end of this cigar the creaminess and coffee flavors became much more prominent. The earthy tones and woodiness were both still present, but made up more of a base. The finish of this cigar is just as good as the rest.

Overall:

We are sure that this cigar will become a favorite of yours. As long as you like medium to full bodied cigars, this one is sure to please. We currently have this size (Corona Viva), the Gordito, Robusto, and Belicoso in stock. So please feel free to stop in and grab a few, these really wont last that long.

Thank you,

The Xhale Lounge Crew
